LCA data is used by organizations to measure, follow up and reduce environmental and social impact. For the Swedish life Cycle Center it is important to contribute to making LCA data more accessible and transparent globally and therefor this expert group has been established.

LCA data base

Several databases for life cycle assessments are available. Some are free of charge, others are not and the data differs from database to database. Swedish Life Cycle Center is lobbying for an open national LCA-database in Sweden. Until then there are some databases available here.

Our history

The center has a history of more than 20 years and has become a credible, well known platform for life cycle experts in Sweden. It was founded as CPM in 1996 as a joint effort between Nutek (later VINNOVA), Chalmers University of Technology and a range of international companies.
