High interest for the life cycle perspective at the Swedish Energy Agency

Tuesday, 27 August, 2019

On August 26, the Swedish Life Cycle Center together with Vattenfall were invited to the Swedish Energy Agency. The overall aim was to present the project Swedish platform for the life cycle perspective and also to give an introduction to the life cycle perspective and to present how to use the life cycle perspective and life cycle assessment in decision making. The seminar attracted around 90 employees. A handful of representatives from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning and the National Agency for Public Procurement were also participating online. The seminar ended with a question session to answer questions around e.g. involvement of SMEs, further financial resources needed within the field, ongoing initiatives of interest for the agency and Swedish companies. The seminar continued with a dialogue in a smaller group at the agency.
