The UN Environment has recently launched the new Life Cycle Initiative (LCI) Strategy, 2017-2022. A strategy to scale up and more efficiently bring Life Cycle Thinking to the mindset of decision makers. Furthermore, LCI will work for the application of life cycle knowledge in the global sustainable development agenda in order to achieve global goals faster and more efficiently.

This goes very much is in line with the Swedish Life Cycle Center’s ambitions! In November, Swedish Life Cycle Center signed the membership for the initiative.

“We are now in a dialogue with the UN Environment on how we can contribute to the Life Cycle Initiative’s vision and strategy, which goes in line with the Swedish Life Cycle Center vision and operational plan”, says Sara Palander, director at Swedish Life Cycle Center.  “We are really looking forward to a closer collaboration.”
