Video Lecture: Thirty years of research on Life Cycle Assessment

26 years ago, Swedish Life Cycle Center started its journey. A journey built on a common need between academia, industry, research institutes and government agencies – with the aim to make better and more sustainable products.

Anne-Marie Tillman is Professor Emerita at the Division of Environmental Systems Analysis at Chalmers and one of the founders of the Swedish Life Cycle Center. Her research has included methodology development and application of life cycle assessment (LCA) and related environmental systems analysis tools. Here you get the chance to take part of a lecture which summarizes thirty years of research on Life Cycle Assessment, at her retirement from Chalmers.

“Mutual learning has been extensive. We, the LCA experts, have been able to conduct assessment studies with a quality we would never have been able to achieve on our own. And the technology experts on the other hand, have learned about the systemic lifecycle implications of their choices in technology development.”
