How to communicate sustainable offers?
On November 8, Re:Source and Production 2030 organized the workshop “Mäta och kommunicera hållbarhet i affärserbjudanden” at Linköping University. Jenny Lagergren from Swedish Life Cycle Center was there. Presenters were, among others, Anna Rengstedt NCC AB, Åsa Degerman, Essity and Thomas Ekvall, IVL /Chalmers.
Important aspects that emerged were how it differs between values of business actors in contrast to values of the final consumer, and how this affects what type of information that should be marketed. In addition, how different methods, business focus (customer focus or sustainable goals focus) and new business models, such as circular business models, characterize how the company can best market its sustainable activities, where communicators play a key role.
The organizers aim to continue the workshop series in the future and they also consider implementing other joint activities within the framework of the innovation programs.
