Welcome to Life Cycle Talks! A series of talks presenting the research front to keep you up to date with the science and application of the life cycle perspective. Our next guests are Pernilla Cederstrand and Ellen Riise, both are Senior Sustainability Specialists at Essity Hygiene & Health. Pernilla and Ellen will talk about how international standards are established and the benefits on being active in standardization work. It can be from observing and getting information to being active as national expert in the international work and meeting experts from all over the world with the goal to achieve consensus.
Presenters
Pernilla and Ellen have worked for many years with international and European standardization in the areas of primarily LCA, sustainability of materials, greenhouse gases and carbon footprint, and environmental claims and communication. They are both passionate about having standards that are useful for all type of actors and contributing with their expertise and relevant business input with their wide experience of environmental and sustainability issues for industry.
